Instructions to Keep Time in a Garden
Durational Performance: Glasgow International Art Festival 2018
This book was made as a set of instructions for movement and work with hand-held sculptures in the Hidden Gardens in Glasgow in a durational performance with artist Suzanne Dery. Ink on Paper, each 20" x 12".
If I could keep time
anyway I wanted
I would do this with you
in a garden
And every second could
be a leaf or a flower
or a blade of grass
And every hour
could be a colour
And we could count
the months and years
with triangles and circles
Our time could be
our own, unfolding.
