with Suzanne Déry

Within the greater project of seeing through new and historic lenses, other devices signal their potential for reanimation in this century. In the last year, artist Suzanne Déry and I have begun a collaboration centered around the contemporary interpretation of Claude Glasses (sets of coloured lenses used in the 18th and 19th centuries) as they relate to the reception of images not inscribed or indexed. We have a formal process of correspondence and documentation – attempting to find an intimacy through documentation of our artwork and sharing of artwork via internet. In January, 2016, we meet for a residency at the Bothy Project, Scotland.
